The End

Spring semester 2021, UNIS, AB-208

Summarizing these last 4-5 months in a 3 minutes video was incredibly hard, yet so rewarding to do. Looking back on all of these marvellous moments I have had, all the amazing people I have been lucky to meet, and all the fun I have had at Longyearbyen school makes me so grateful. I am getting close to the end of the internship period, the end of my stay in Longyearbyen, and the end of my bachelors degree (!) – wait, what?!

The internship course has given me a lot of valuable experiences. Being a “teacher” and a student at the same time has given me new insights, and by planning activities at the school I have found new ways to be creative. Even though not all of these activities have been directly related to biology I have often ended up thinking of new ways to link life sciences to my projects. I am leaving this island with a good amount of inspiration as to what cool things you can get involved in as a biologist.

So long Longyearbyen, we’ll meet again.
